You can cancel your contract by sending a registered letter to the landlord. This is a letter that you post at the post office and for which you pay extra so that the landlord has to sign for receipt. This letter must contain:
- Landlord’s name;
- Date of sending letter;
- Topic;
- Your name;
- The address where you’re now renting;
- When you want to cancel the rental agreement. Please note the statutory notice period (a payment term).
- Request a refund of deposit with your bank account number (optional);
- Your new address (optional).
